Interior designer Valery Yudin, based in Kiev is responsible for one of the most interesting apartment projects we have seen lately. It was able to achieve the perfect Scandinavian style and ally it with pastel colors. The result? A modern apartment with nordic inspirations, perfect for the cold weather of Fall and Winter.
The open plan living space, created by the kitchen and living room is able to bring a cozier atmosphere, since its possible to hang out with friends while making dinner. The striking colors of gray, white and aqua blue/green turn this space modern and sophisticated, and makes it possible to keep the original Scandinavian style.
The geometric tiling of the floor, gives the impression that there’s a carpet under the dining table. The minimalist Scandinavian table and chairs are a great addition to the simple kitchen behind it, creating a very contemporary feeling to the living space, making sure they take advantage of the whole space.
The master bedroom features the same color palette. And besides, it has its own private bathroom. Even though the room is not very big, the colors were used to create this illusion of space, giving depth to this staggering interior design.
The children’s room is also a surprise: not only does it add more colors to the mix, but it is also a very stylish kids’ room. Yellow, aqua, gray and light wood blend perfectly and the small colorful details on the wall recreate the look of a climbing wall. Besides, any child would like to have a chalk wall just for them…
